Thanos and the Squid Game: Season 2
The neon-lit corridors of the Squid Game arena buzzed with tension as masked guards led the new batch of contestants into the central hall. The stakes had never been higher—this was Season 2, and the VIPs demanded more brutal entertainment. But among the contestants, one figure stood out: Thanos.
Dressed in a simple green tracksuit with the number 101, the Mad Titan looked almost human—almost. The Infinity Stones were gone, his power diminished, yet his imposing presence sent chills through the other players. How did he get here? He didn’t know. The last thing he remembered was sitting alone in the ruins of his garden after the Avengers’ final battle. Then, darkness. Now, he was here.

The Front Man's voice crackled through the speakers. “Welcome, players. You have been chosen to participate in six deadly games. Only one of you will survive to claim the prize of 45.6 billion won.”
Thanos smirked. “I have faced the gods themselves. Do you think I fear your games?”
The first challenge was Red Light, Green Light.
As the massive mechanical doll turned its head, scanning the field, players hesitated. A few ran too fast, their bodies collapsing to the ground as gunshots echoed. Thanos walked forward with calm determination, calculating every movement. His superior reflexes allowed him to stop exactly when needed. The others weren’t so lucky. By the time the doll’s song ended, only half the players remained.
The next game: Honeycomb. Thanos received the star shape. With precise hands, he carved through the delicate candy, while others cracked under pressure—literally. The gunfire barely fazed him.
As the night fell, alliances formed. Players whispered in dark corners, planning betrayals. One contestant, a tall man with a scar over his eye, approached Thanos. “Join us,” he said. “We take out the strong ones first.”
Thanos chuckled. “Foolish. Strength is necessary for survival.” And with one swift move, he crushed the man’s skull.
Tug-of-War came next. Thanos was placed on a weak team. The opposing side laughed—until the game began. With one mighty pull, he yanked the entire enemy team off the platform, sending them screaming to their deaths.
The Marbles Game was different. He was paired with a young woman who had made it this far through cunning. “We play until one of us is left,” she whispered, clutching her marbles. Thanos respected her resolve but knew what had to be done. He let her win, watching as the guards led him away—only for him to overpower them and return.
The penultimate game: Glass Bridge. Thanos observed others jump, fall, and die. With a strategic toss of a shoe, he identified the safe path, crossing with ease.
Finally, the Squid Game. His opponent? The last remaining contestant—a ruthless fighter, desperate for victory. The struggle was fierce, but in the end, Thanos stood over his defeated foe. The Front Man clapped slowly.
“Congratulations, Player 101. You have won.”
Thanos glanced at the masked figure. “And now?”
“Now, you make a choice.”
The final twist: become the new Front Man or take the prize and leave. Thanos smiled. “Balance must be maintained.”
And so, the Thanos Squid Game had a new master.
